Zidane to let Real attacker join Chelsea on one condition

Chelsea can reportedly sign Real Madrid star Marco Asensio but only if Eden Hazard is allowed to move to the Bernabeu.

The Blues have been strongly linked with a move for the 21-year-old, who has struggled for game time under Zinedine Zidane this season.

Real, meanwhile, have been chasing Hazard for the best part of two years and remain determined to get their man.

Spanish website Diario Gol claims that a move could happen that would involve some kind of swap deal, although that is in stark contrast to what was reported on Tuesday.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was said to have ended his interest in Hazard as a pact was in place not to hinder Asensio’s development by bringing in a very similar player.

However, it would appear that the the Spanish giants still hold a strong interest in the Belgian, who has been outstanding for the Blues since returning from injury.

Hazard is still said to have ambitions to move to the Bernabeu at some point in his career, although he has recently claimed that his more than happy with life in London.

PSG 2-0 Troyes: Neymar & Cavani secure late win

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Troyes 2-0 at Parc des Princes on Wednesday night in the week 15 of Ligue 1 encounter.

World most expensive player Neymar open the scoring in the second half to break stubborn Troyes heart before Edison Cavani ensure his goal gave them the maximum three points.

This victory gave the Paris outfit 12 point gap against defending champions Monaco in the Ligue table going to the weekend game.

First half

3' Di Maria whips in a free kick that's punched away by Samassa. three minutes later Di Maria tests Samassa again, this time with a rocket of a shot right at Troyes' keeper

11 minutes gone a quick free kick from Javi Pastore to Edison Cavani is wasted it as the Uruguayan skies his first-time shot over the bar.

Di Maria almost makes Troyes pay for a giveaway with a left-footed shot that flashes just wide of goal.

Pastore provides a lovely pass to Marco Verratti as he shot from right on the outside the box and when too high. A few minutes later Cavani was brought down inside the penalty box as the center referee point to the spot kick

The Ligue top scorer Cavani step up to take the spot-kick as the Uraguay international misses it with Troyes goalkeeper saved it left a corner of the post as the score remains goalless 41 minutes gone.

Three minutes later Troyes get their first chance of the encounter as Samuel Grandsir following a fast break laid a pass to Stephane Darbion left footed shot from outside the box is close, but misses the top left corner.

PSG winger Di Maria make a pass to Giovani Lo Celso lets it fly from distance, but his effort goes over the bar.

Goals Updates & Results: Arsenal on FIRE, Rooney on Hat-trick

Follow tonight’s six Premier League matches as we feed you with updates on goals.

FT: Sean Dyche’s team hold on for three valuable points, which take the Clarets to sixth in the league. The goals from Wood and Brady ensured Bournemouth could not get back into match, even though King netted a consolation for his side.

Burnley were resolute where the Cherries were not and just about deserved the victory at the Vitality. Not a happy birthday for Eddie Howe.

CHELSEA 1-0 SWANSEA

FT: It’s all over at Stamford Bridge and a relatively quiet game ends in Chelsea’s favour thanks to Antonio Rudiger’s first Premier League goal.

The most entertaining moment was Antonio Conte’s dismissal to the stands at the end of the first half, with both sides not at their best if they are honest.

But it’s points that matter, and Chelsea remain in third with 29 points and Swansea are stuck in 19th spot.

ARSENAL 5-0 HUDDERSFIELD

FT: And there goes the full-time whistle. Some night in the end for Arsene Wenger’s side, but it was not going all their way initially.

However, three goals in five second-half minutes took the game away from Huddersfield, who will leave thinking ‘What if’ after a tight first hour or so.

GOAL! STOKE 0-3 LIVERPOOL (Salah, 83)

What a mess for Stoke, but what a player Liverpool have here in Mo Salah. The Premier League top scorer forces Pieters into an error at the last line, and he’s through on goal…

Grant rushes out, but Salah makes no mistake. He nips it under the goalkeeper, and that’s game over for sure.

Oh David Moyes, when will things go right for you? Wayne Rooney scores twice against his old manager.

And that’s 10-0 to Everton in their five games against their old boss.

Tom Davies crosses, Jonjoe Kenny air-kicks (although he makes slight contact) andRooneyguides the ball home from about 12 yards out.

GOAL- Everton 1- 0 West Ham United

Wayne Rooney takes his penalty but it’s SAVED by his former England team-mate Joe Hart. Unfortunately for the keeper, he palms the ball back into the middle of the box and Rooney heads the rebound into the back of the net.

GOAL – Bournemouth 0-1 Burnley

Deserved lead! The Clarets have been excellent and they take the lead after Steve Cook’s poor clearance gives the ball away. Jack Cork finds Robbie Brady, he comes inside to shoot, it’s blocked by Cook but falls kindly for Chris Wood who turns it over the line.

Clinical stuff! A cracking goal from the Arsenal as they take a very early lead. Alexandre Lacazette starts the move off before finding Granit Xhaka, he plays it forwards and Aaron Ramsey helps the ball around the corner with a delicious backheel flick.

It’s perfectly into the path of Lacazette and he slots home confidently with his left foot from 15 yards.

GOAL! STOKE 0-1 LIVERPOOL (Mane, 17)

Controversy. Joe Gomez crosses – but was the ball out of play? – to Dominic Solanke, who finds Sadio Mane. Mane clips the ball over Lee Grant, who gets a touch but can’t keep it out. Roberto Firmino thinks about tapping the ball into the empty net but decides to leave Mane’s effort to go in unaided.

The Release Date For Eminem’s ‘Revival’ Album Has Been Announced

After several weeks of teasing and speculations, the actual release date for Eminem’s ninth studio album titled ‘Revival’ has been announced.

Veteran music producer’ Dr. Dre who is Eminem’s mentor revealed that the project will be dropping on the 15th of December through a video he shared on twitter.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. @Eminem pic.twitter.com/hje9I92C17

Prior to this official announcement, it was rumored that the album would be released on November 27, but that day passed without a new Em album and his fans were understandably disappointed. Another prediction soon dictated that the album would drop on the 8th of December but that was evidently incorrect as well.

The Revival album comes four years after the release of his ‘Marshall Mathers LP 2′ project. So far, we have heard only one song from the album, ‘Walk On Water‘ which features Beyonce and…

Theresa May condemns Trump for retweeting anti-Muslim hate videos from the British far right

"It is wrong for the president to have done this," a spokesman for British Prime Minister Theresa May said.

Theresa May, through a spokesman, condemned US President Donald Trump after he retweeted anti-Muslim videos posted by a leader of the far-right group Britain First.

The spokesman for the British prime minister said, "It is wrong for the president to have done this."

The comments are May's most explicit criticism of the president.

The spokesman said he had talked to May, who is on a tour of the Middle East, about the tweets.

LONDON — Theresa May, through a spokesman, has condemned US President Donald Trump for retweeting Islamophobic videos posted by a leader of the British far-right.

The spokesman for the prime minister said it was "wrong" for Trump to have broadcast the footage to his 43 million Twitter followers on Wednesday morning.

May's spokesman said at a press briefing attended by Business Insider: "Britain first seeks to divide communities through their use of hateful narratives which peddle lies and stoke tensions. They cause anxiety to law-abiding people.

"British people overwhelmingly reject the prejudice of the far right, which is the antithesis of the values that this country represents: decency, tolerance, and respect. It is wrong for the president to have done this."

Trump retweeted three videos posted by Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, the UK's best-known far-right group.

May's representative spoke to the prime minister about Trump's tweets as she was travelling in the Middle East.

It is very rare for the British government to directly condemn a US president, and May has been criticised for her previous reluctance to get involved in controversies involving Trump.

Trump's retweets have led to calls for May to cancel the president's planned state visit to the UK. May's spokesman said that the invitation to Trump had "been extended and accepted" and that the visit would still go ahead, though Sky News quoted government sources as saying the visit would be "downgraded."

The White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, defended Trump's retweeting the videos.

"Whether it's a real video, the threat is real," she said. "His goal is to promote strong border security and strong national security."

Fransen expressed joy at Trump's retweeting the videos she posted.

As of 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday, "Britain First" was the second-highest trending topic on Twitter.

Fransen has been arrested several times in connection with her political activities.

Last November, she was convicted of "religiously aggravated harassment" after she shouted at a Muslim woman wearing a hijab during a deliberately provocative "Christian patrol" in the town of Luton.

Fransen is awaiting trial on charges that she incited religious hatred in the town of Ramsgate, according to KentLive. She also was charged earlier this month over an inflammatory speech in Northern Ireland in August, according to the BBC.

The videos Trump retweeted had the titles "Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!" "Islamist mob pushes teenage boy off roof and beats him to death!" and "Muslim Destroys a Statue of Virgin Mary!"

Trump reportedly can't let go of the Obama birth certificate conspiracy

Trump is reportedly reviving a controversial campaign talking point, in which he questioned the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate.

President Donald Trump is reportedly reviving a controversial crusade that thrust him into the political spotlight. He is again questioning the authenticity of President Barack Obama's birth certificate.

At least one senator who listened to Trump raise doubts says that he had a hard time letting go of the conspiracy.

In the midst of a growing number of women coming forward alleging sexual misconduct from prominent political figures, President Donald Trump has reportedly questioned his own scandals, and is reviving the conspiracy theory that thrust him into a political spotlight.

Speaking to senators and advisers in private, Trump reportedly brought up his doubts about the legitimacy of President Barack Obama's birth certificate, according to a New York Times report published Tuesday. The Obama birth certificate question is a conspiracy theory Trump has floated since long before his 2016 presidential campaign.

After questioning Obama's citizenship for several months during the campaign, Trump appeared to finally put the topic to rest in September 2016 by saying "Obama was born in the United States, period."

Trump also went a step further, blaming his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton for allegedly spreading the birther theory: "Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy," Trump said at the time. "I finished it. I finished it. You know what I mean."

But according to at least one lawmaker in The Times' report, the subject is all but dead. One senator who listened to Trump rekindle the topic appeared amused, saying that Trump had difficulty in letting go of his previous assertions.

Trump's own staff have also been found to prod lawmakers in asking questions to steer him towards more suitable topics for discussion, according to The Times.

In addition to questioning Obama's birth certificate, Trump has floated a verifiably false theory that he lost the popular vote during the 2016 presidential election, due to widespread voter fraud, The Times reported.

"It's dangerous to democracy," Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, said. "You've got to have shared facts."

Muslims Cry Out As World’s Most Powerful Man American President Donald Trump Shares Information On Muslims Attacking Non-Muslims On His Twitter Page

Donald Trump has retweeted three inflammatory videos from a British far-right group.

The first tweet from Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, claims to show a Muslim migrant attacking a man on crutches.

This was followed by two more videos of people Ms Fransen claims to be Muslim.

Britain First was founded in 2011 by former members of the far-right British National Party (BNP).

The group has grabbed attention on social media with controversial posts about what they deem “the Islamification of the UK”.

It has put up members to run in European elections and by-elections on anti-immigration and anti-abortion policies, but has yet to secure any seats.

It also contested the most recent London mayoral election, receiving 1.2% of the vote.

The original video was shared by US conservative commentator Ann Coulter who Mr Trump follows.

Ms Fransen has more than 52,000 followers on Twitter.

She responded enthusiastically to Mr Trump sharing her tweets. She posted on her account: “Donald Trump himself has retweeted these videos and has around 44 million followers!”

“God bless you Trump! God bless America!” she added. The message was also shared on Britain First’s Twitter account.

Earlier this month, Ms Fransen was charged with using “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour” during speeches she made in Belfast.

She will appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 14 December.

Mr Trump’s decision to retweet the videos met dismay on social media.

Brendan Cox, whose wife, British MP Jo Cox, was murdered by a right-wing extremist who shouted “Britain First” before committing the act, has condemned the action.

TV presenter and journalist Piers Morgan, who has called himself a “friend” of the president, tweeted: “What the hell are you doing?”

“Please STOP this madness & undo your retweets,” he said.

The Muslim Council for Britain called on the UK government to “distance” itself from the comments.

“This is the clearest endorsement yet from the US president of the far-right and their vile anti-Muslim propaganda,” a spokeswoman said.

The issue was raised in the UK parliament, and opposition Labour MP Yvette Cooper called on the government to condemn the actions of Mr Trump.

But House of Commons Speaker John Bercow said it would be wrong to expect the government to immediately respond. -BBC

It Doesn’t Matter If The Anti-Muslim Videos Trump Retweeted Are Real Because ‘The Threat Is Real’

Hours after Donald Trump retweeted several apparently fake anti-Muslim videos posted online by Jayda Fransen of Britain First, a British far-right group of ill repute, White House reporters tried vehemently to get an official response from the administration. For his part, the president left the retweets in question up on his Twitter account (where they remain as of this writing), prompting a flurry of support from Fransen and other Britain First members online. But what did the White House itself have to say about Trump’s apparent endorsement of the organization’s anti-Muslim beliefs?

According to Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who briefly spoke with reporters outside of the White House, the videos themselves don’t matter. Specifically, the “nature” of the videos — their being allegedly fake — does not matter. Why? Because that isn’t what the president was trying to talk about when he retweeted them:

“I’m not talking about the nature of the video. I think you’re focusing on the wrong thing. The threat is real, and that’s what the president is talking about. The need for national security, the need for military spending, and those are very real things. There’s nothing fake about that.”

When another reporter suggested Sanders, and Trump by extension, was implying the “means justify the ends,” the press secretary snapped back. “That’s not what I said. You’re putting words in my mouth,” she said. “I said that the threat is real. The threat needs to be addressed. The threat has to be talked about. That’s what the president is doing in bringing it up.”

Marvel Is Planning More Than 20 New Movies After 'Avengers 4'

2017 was an important year for Marvel, but 2018 will be even more so.

2018 should give us Black Panther, the first black superhero headliner, which is pretty cool. Then there'll be the eagerly expected new Avengers, which promises the demise of some of our fav characters.

2018 will also mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) tenth anniversary, as the first Iron Man was released on April 24, 2008.

Image: Marvel Studios

To celebrate this event, the whole crew gathered for a long article in Vanity Fair. Alongside the 83 artists taking part, from Chris Evans to Stan Lee and Scarlett Johansson (and so many others), the article is also a tribute to Kevin Feige, the man behind the MCU project. He took this opportunity to share his views on the future of the MCU.

Twenty-two movies are already on the cards until the end of phase three, but Kevin Feige boasts he's got enough material for another twenty, saying "we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before—intentionally.”

Disney boss Robert Iger concurs: MCU holds the rights to seven thousand characters (!). Just imagine what MCU could do with this.

The 'After-Avengers 4'

Feige will have to work on actually killing off the current MCU, in a way, stating that “There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”

That's partly because the contracts of some of the stars are ending (with among them Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk)).

It's also a case of wrapping up the Infinity Stones narrative, which more or less was at the core of the twenty last MCU movies.

Of course, we still don't know much about this after-Avengers 4 future, only that there will be a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2019 and a third Guardians of the Galaxy around 2020, once more directed by James Gunn.

We guess there'll be a sequel to Doctor Strange too, but it's just wait and see for now.

What we do know though is that the competition is hotting up, as proves the success of Wonder Woman, a hit lauded both for its feminist angle and for its overall quality.

Even if Justice League doesn't meet the audience's expectations and flops, DC too has quite a few stories it can play with: Aquaman, Shazam, Wonder Woman 2, a movie about Cyborg, Green Lantern Corps, Batgirl, The famous The Batman, Black Adam, Flashpoint, Gotham City Sirens, Justice League Dark, Nightwing, Suicide Squad 2, Birds of Prey, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Lobo, a sequel to Justice League, another for Man of Steel and, finally, a film centred on Harley Quinn and the Joker.

We can't be sure of the future of all these movies though, as it is quite difficult to predict how Justice League will be received by the public.

Everything You Missed In The 'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer

The Avengers: Infinity War trailer was released this morning and so much happened in this jam-packed trailer, it’s easy to miss some big moments. Let’s break down some of the biggest and best bits from the trailer and see what we can glean.

For starters, we have Vision on the ground with someone (maybe Thanos, maybe someone else — Proxima Midnight perhaps?) trying to yank the infinity stone out of his head.

Marvel

While we’re on the subject, this short scene taught us a few new things: Vision seems to be able to change his appearance and look human rather than his usual red, metallic appearance. Also, Vision and the Scarlet Witch look to have finally begun their long-storied romance.

Marvel

Bruce is back on Earth. So something must have happened post-Ragnarok to split up Hulk and Thor.

Marvel

Thor, on the other hand, is still out in space.

Marvel

Where he meets these A-holes, two of whom (Nebula and Gamora) have some serious father issues to work out with our big bad…

Marvel

Thanos.

Marvel

Who seems to look a bit more youthful and vibrant than his previous appearances. And a bit more Bruce Willis-y.

Marvel

Thanos will at some point in the film have two Infinity Stones, which leaves him still in need of four more.

Marvel

Spider-Man has a new suit and it is incredible.

Marvel

His new suit will assuredly protect his sensitive and delicate arm hairs.

Marvel

We don’t know if you’ve heard, but Cap has a beard now.

Marvel

And armed with his new and powerful facial hair, you can call him Cap’n Punch.

Marvel

Black Widow is blonde now, a change on par with Cap Beard.

Marvel

Already Twitter is having a fit wondering whose hand Tony Stark is holding here. Is it his own? Is it Peter Parker’s?

Marvel

We can’t wait to find out all our answers when the film is released May 4, 2018.

The Director Of "Titanic" Just Revealed Why Rose Didn't Make Room For Jack On The Door

"It’s called art. Things happen for artistic reasons, not for physics reasons."

You know how Titanic fans argue about whether or not there was enough room for both Jack and Rose to fit on that door? (There was.) Well, I've moved passed that and have just re-created the ending in my mind entirely so that Jack survived and the two lived happily ever after.

Paramount Pictures

Call it denial or a coping mechanism if you like, but really, I'm just righting a wrong.

But, director James Cameron is screwing with my happy delusion because, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he revealed that pretty much nothing would've saved poor Jack.

Emma Mcintyre / Getty Images

James told Vanity Fair, "...it says on page 147 [of the script] that Jack dies. Very simple. . . . Obviously it was an artistic choice, the thing was just big enough to hold her, and not big enough to hold him . . .

Paramount Pictures

(Cue me screaming internally that they both could've fucking fit on that damn door.)

"Had he lived, the ending of the film would have been meaningless. . . . The film is about death and separation; he had to die. So whether it was that, or whether a smoke stack fell on him, he was going down.

Paramount Pictures

"It’s called art. Things happen for artistic reasons, not for physics reasons."

"I think it’s all kind of silly, really, that we’re having this discussion 20 years later. But it does show that the film was effective in making Jack so endearing to the audience that it hurts them to see him die."

Paramount Pictures

(YES, HE WAS ENDEARING AND HE DESERVED BETTER, HOW DARE YOU!)

James continued, crushing souls and shattering dreams:

I was in the water with the piece of wood putting people on it for about two days, getting it exactly buoyant enough so that it would support one person with full free-board, meaning that she wasn’t immersed at all in the 28 degree water so that she could survive the three hours it took until the rescue ship got there. [Jack] didn’t know that she was gonna get picked up by a lifeboat an hour later; he was dead anyway. And we very, very finely tuned it to be exactly what you see in the movie because I believed at the time, and still do, that that’s what it would have taken for one person to survive.

Whatever you say, James. Whatever you say. You have your version, and I have mine.

Anyway, here are some pictures of Kate and Leo living their best life to cheer you up. You're welcome.
