Antonio Conte agree to the sell of Chelsea winger Willian in order to bring PSG’s Lucas Moura to Stamford Bridge according to a report. Chelsea midfielder Willian has found life difficult at Stamford Bridge since Antonio Conte took charge of the club last summer as the Brazil international has mainly been used as a substitute this term and could reportedly be shown the exit door in January.
According to French outlet Le10 Sport, Blues boss Conte wants to sell one 29-year-old in January to fund a move for another Brazilian.
The report claims that Chelsea are looking for a fee of around £27million for the former Shakhtar Donetsk star, with China a possible destination.
He could depart the club in a deal similar to that of former teammate Oscar, who left Stamford Bridge for Shanghai SIPG last January.
Willian’s transfer fee would immediately be reinvested in the squad, with Conte keen on using the funds to acquire Lucas from PSG.
Recent reports have suggested that the Parisians would consider offloading the forward as they may have to sell players in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
Willian has made 141 appearances for the Blues since his debut back in 2013 scoring 32 times and he was named Chelsea’s Player of the Year in 2015/16
