Here are some of the most rewatchable movies that we all love:
1. Mean Girls
Duh. Regina is basically our queen bee too, because we've seen this movie so much. Mean Girls has a perfect cocktail of laughs, quotable lines, and even a feel-good moment or two....not to mention a killer dance number.
The Script Lab | Paramount Pictures
2. Anchorman
I hadn't seen this until I was a senior in high school, but have no fear, I've made up for lost time and rewatched it seven or eight times since. Anchorman is far more than a funny movie: Considered to be one of the best comedies of all time, it has one-liners for days.
Nerdist | Dreamworks
3. The Breakfast Club
Classic. Despite this movie being made several decades ago, the characters are all still relevant to this day — their friendship is as heartwarming as it is unexpected. Also, something about the song playing in the end of the movie makes me emotional and I can never resist throwing my hand up, too.
IMDb | Universal Pictures
4. Titanic
Sad? Sure. Devastating? An understatement? Does that stop us from watching this timeless tale? Of course not. Jack and Rose are pure magic together, but we'll never forgive Rose for not leaving room for Jack on the door.
YouTube | Paramount Pictures
5. Clueless
Some might call this the original Mean Girls, but we make time to rewatch them both. Cher and Dionne are two of the most fashionable characters ever. The movie never gets old...I mean, we still want that technology Cher has that helps her choose her outfits.
Will we ever stop watching this movie? As if!
Tom + Lorenzo | Paramount Pictures
6. Napoleon Dynamite
Napoleon Dynamite was released in 2004. It is now 2017. We watch it at least a few times a year and it is still funny af. 'Nuff said.
Hollywood | Fox Searchlight
7. Elf
Will Ferrel! I know him! Of course we watch this movie anywhere from 22 to 48 times during the holiday season! It gets us so ready for Christmas, but we're no stranger to watching it in the middle of summer either. Will Ferrel is hilarious year 'round.
Amazon | New Line Cinema
8. Finding Nemo
We watched this movie over and over as a child, but now as adults we're, well, still watching. Finding Nemo is such a feel-good family movie — and now we can follow it up with Finding Dory, which is equally as excellent.
The Young Folks | Disney/Pixar
9. Mamma Mia
This film has three main features that entice us into watching it once a month: a roller coaster of emotions that has the happiest ending, catchy songs that we know every word to, and Meryl Streep.
The Edge | Universal
10. 10 Things I Hate About You
Unlike the vast majority of rom-coms in Hollywood, 10 Things I Hate About You is far from cliché. Kat is a fierce feminist who isn't afraid to speak her mind — and Patrick is not intimated by that. In fact, he loves it, which makes us love him even more.
Storypick | Buena Vista Pictures
11. Grease
We're all suckers for this movie, whether you'd like to admit it or not. Although a big part of our infatuation has to do with Danny and Sandy, we also adore Rizzo and the Pink Ladies — and of course, the sing-a-longs in almost every scene.
Movie Store | Dreamworks
12. Forrest Gump
Forest is such a pure soul. I fell in love with his character the first time I watched this movie, and continue to do so again and again. We can't stand near a box of chocolates and not recite that famous line.
Oh, and when Forrest goes to visit Jenny at her grave? We weep, like babies. Every. Single. Time.
Smooth Radio | Dreamworks
13. The Dark Knight
Considered to be one of the best comic book movies of all time, The Dark Knight never disappoints. Batman is spot-on and action is at an all-time high, but what really makes us love this movie is Heath Ledger as the Joker. Heath gave one of the best villainous performances to date, cementing him as a legend and an icon.
Letterboxd | Warner Bros
14. The Devil Wears Prada
Perhaps I'm biased because I dreamed of having this super glamorous life in New York, but doesn't this movie make us all feed off that fantasy to an extent? Every time we watch it, we feel more glamorous and fashionable. Oh, and the stellar cast and well-developed and evil, but adored Miranda? Groundbreaking.
Glamour | 20th Century Fox
15. 13 Going on 30
Jenna was super relatable back when we first became teenagers. She was super awkward, dreaming of the day when she became an adult and would have everything figured out...until she transforms into an adult and realizes how difficult it is. Tbh, we watch this now because we're at that point where everything is hard, and we want our adolescence back.
YouTube | YouTube Movies | Sony Pictures
16. Peter Pan
Peter Pan is sure to make anyone feel nostalgic and enthralled in childhood once again — which is the main reason we've watched it time and time again. Something about it is almost magical...hmm, might be the pixie dust!
Playbuzz | Disney
Which movie have you seen a hundred times?
