The Undertaker Attended The Premiere Of Ric Flair's '30 For 30'

Youtube

It’s been a newsworthy two months for Ric Flair following his serious health scare in August, but he was able to get through that and now we can all look ahead to the highly anticipated premiere of his ESPN 30 for 30 special. The documentary covering Flair’s life airs on Tuesday, November 7 at 10pmET on ESPN.

We aren’t the only ones excited about the film, though. Plenty of wrestlers are too. Flair is considered by many of his peers to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever (if not THE greatest), so it’s not surprise that The Undertaker showed up in Atlanta on Thursday night to attend the screening along with Flair.

This was the second premiere of the film, following one in New York City on Wednesday which was attended by Charlotte Flair. Thurday’s premiere was held in Atlanta, where Flair lives with his fiancee Wendy Barlow. WWE posted a photo of the two wrestling legends together on their Instagram account.

Both guys look great. Considering the ordeal Flair went through and people close to him were saying he only had a 20% chance to live, he has plenty of reason to smile. As for The Undertaker, he looks well and I’m sure it will lead to rumors of him returning to the ring even though a lot of those rumors appear to be false.

As most wrestling fans know, The Undertaker isn’t the kind of guy to make public appearances that often. It’s so rare that whenever he appears in public, internet wrestling fans go crazy about it because it’s as if they think he really works at a funeral home or something. Okay so maybe it’s not like that, but The Undertaker tends to keep a low profile unlike a lot of people in that line of work.

After the screening was over, Flair and the producers of the documentary addressed the crowd.

There are photos with other wrestling people on WWE’s Instagram account including Michael Hayes, Dolph Ziggler, Diamond Dallas Page and Luke Gallows. No word on if Hayes tried to sing while he was there, but we sure hope not.

If you want to check out a great Undertaker vs. Flair match, I recommend WrestleMania 18 from the Skydome in Toronto. It was Flair’s first WrestleMania back in WWE after ten years away from the event while The Undertaker was a heel as the American Badass. They had a bloody, old school brawl that is one of the most underrated WrestleMania matches ever.
