Netflix with another one.
We get to see Will Smith play another badass cop in the upcoming trailer for Netflix's Bright.
The film follows Will, who plays Officer Ward, and Joel Edgerton, who plays Officer Jakoby, as the two become unlikely partners who have to battle their differences and stop the sinister underworld from destroying their city and their futures.
The movie intertwines the human world with the sci-fi world as Joel's character, and many other roles in the film, are orcs and elves.
The trailer features two brand new tracks specially made for the movie, “Danger” by Migos and Marshmello, and “Home” by Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha. The beats will be available on the film's soundtrack, Bright: The Album, and is available for pre-order on November 9th. David Ayer, known for directing Suicide Squad, End of Watch and Training Day, will be working behind the scenes for both the film and the score.
The action-packed film is one of many movies to hit the streaming platform next month. Earlier this week we posted the lists of movies and series leaving Netflix and joining in November. Some other notable flicks that will soon be available to members are Men In Black, Chappie, Scary Movie and The Pursuit of Happiness. Get your last binge-watch in for The Matrix, Goosebumps, How I Met Your Mother: Seasons 1-9 and Get Rich or Die Tryin' that will leave the platform.
Aside from starring in box-office movies, Will has been making music moves since his latest release of the track called "Get Lit" earlier this month. It's no surprise since Will had been popping up on stages with his former partner DJ Jazzy Jeff, performing classic tracks like “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It,” “Summertime” and “Miami.”
He said "Get Lit" was a record made to remind "each and every one of y’all to let your light shine,” adding that there are "no plans, no pressure… just back to basics with DJ Jazzy Jeff!"
Bright will hit Netflix and select theatres on November 22nd.
