Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has revealed that he is not scared of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi rather than being inspired.
The 24-year-old forward Kane has established himself as one of the best strikers in the World following with performance in recent seasons and is viewed as a possible candidate who could break Ronaldo and Messi ten-year stronghold over the Ballon d’Or award.
After a disappointing month of August, Spurs hitman Kane hit top form this month with eight goals in six games in all competitions this month.
Should Kane manage to out-score Ronaldo and Messi during this seasons Champions League then surely even his prove his critics wrong which they have to admit that he is among the World’s best players.
When asked if he is chasing the records of Messi and Ronaldo, the England international Kane said, “With social media these days, it’s difficult to stay away from it. Everyone is tweeting this thing or that thing and you see it.
“Obviously, I want to be one of the best players in the world, so people put it up and I see I am close to those players, and it is a great incentive to get closer and go to the next step. I use it, yes.
“I want to be one of the best in the world and to do that you have to stay up with the best and I want to score goals and maintain my form, and that’s what it is about, staying consistent at the top level.”
