Thierry Henry sends message to Conte about Bakayoko

Thierry Henry sent a message to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte about Tiemoue Bakayoko after the goalless draw with Arsenal in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Henry feels that Bakayoko should have started the game for Chelsea against Arsenal during their clash in the League.

Conte opted for Cesc Fabregas and N’Golo Kante in the central midfield role for the Blues but the pair struggled to assert their presence in the centre of the pack.

Bakayoko was left on the bench before being called upon in the second half of the stalemate at Stamford Bridge.

The former Arsenal striker Henry feels that Conte made an error by not starting Bakayoko against the north London side.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Henry said: “I think they [Chelsea] got it wrong [against Arsenal].

“Tiemoue Bakayoko should have started. Cesc Fabregas should have played higher and Bakayoko alongside N’Golo kante

Chelsea and Arsenal’s next game will be in the Carabao Cup when they face Nottingham Forest and Doncaster Rovers respectively.

While in the Premier League, Chelsea will make a trip to bet365 Stadium to face Stoke City and Arsenal will play West Brom at the Emirates on Monday next week.
