Movies You Need To See Before October Comes To An End

October is definitely a movie month and it has seen the release of a number of interesting and highly entertaining movies that cinema goers can’t help but love. We previously gave a list of movies that would be worth your time this month and here are four more movies that you would hate to miss this month.

Marshall

With a stellar cast that includes Chadwick Boseman, Josh Gad and Kate Hudson, Marshall follows the story of a young Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, as he battles through one of his career-defining cases.

This biopic is worthy of a position on the big screens and hopefully, you would have a great time watching the travails of the first black supreme court justice in the united states.

The Meyerowitz Stories

Starring Hollywood veterans including Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoffman, the adult children of Harold Meyerowitz all reunite in New York in preparation for their father’s career retrospective. Director, Noah Baumbach has achieved critical success with movies like “Mistress America” and “Frances Ha”.

His ability to tell intimate and layered stories about families and missed opportunities, a formidable cast, and this particular movie providing the perfect storyline, there’s a lot to look forward to.

Professor Marston & The Wonder Women

This movie is based on the story of psychologist William Moulton Marston and it explores the polyamorous relationship that existed between his wife and his mistress. The movie also tells of how he created his beloved comic book character Wonder Woman, and the controversy the comic generated.

While the movie seemed not to have impressed the critics much, the story is rich in eroticism, especially from the time the story is based. There are a lot of things that would still be captivating about the movie ,especially since it is being released months after “Wonder Woman”.

Much drama in the movie focuses on the iconic comic character and the three fascinating leading characters which for most provided information with little passion which could have been otherwise, considering how intriguing a story of such magnitude could be.

The Snowman

The snowman stars Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson and Chloe Sevigny. The movie follows detective Harry Hole as he investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman.

Michael Fassbender plays the lead role and he definitely brought his intriguing career successes from donning a cape for superhero flicks in the “X-Men” series, to dressing down and hiding his face and musically-inclined indies like “Frank“ to bear on the role.

His astute sense of quality makes this movie a must watch despite how unsettling thrillers can be. Director, Tomas Alfredson, who directed “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” and “Let the Right One In“, takes the sit in this movie and you should expect “The Snowman” to give you chills when youre done with it.
