Chelsea number nine Alvaro Morata admits he hopes to score a goal with his feet after his Blues teammate Eden Hazard joked he needed to improve his finishing ability.
The 24-year-old Spain international has made a blistering start to his Stamford Bridge, career by net in three goals in his four Premier League matches so far.
But the £70million record signing Morata has only scored with his head and Hazard mocked him by saying he needs to show he can score with his feet.
Speaking about Morata after Saturday’s win at Leicester City, Hazard said: ‘I saw that he scores a lot with his head… now he needs to score with his feet.
‘He is a top player. He can score every time. When he scores, we win the game so I think he is good.’
Former Juventus and Real Madrid forward Morata said he has been pleased by his impact under Chelsea's boss Antonio Conte but agreed with Hazard that a goal with his feet would be welcome.
He told Chelsea’s official website: "At the moment, I’ve only scored and assisted with my head for Chelsea, so I hope to use my feet as well soon!
‘It’s true that English football is different to Italy and Spain. You don’t have much time to calm down or relax because all the time the ball is on fire.
‘You need to be in good condition to play here and approach every match with a good mentality.
‘In terms of the marking, it is probably the same here as in Italy with the teams that are maybe not at the top of the league – those teams are compact and it’s hard for us sometimes to break them down.
‘But when the other team wants to play with the ball, you can find space. That’s when you find the spaces to attack the other team.’
Morata was rested for Tuesday’s clash against Qarabag but boasts extensive experience in the Champions League with Real Madrid and Juventus.
He won the competition last season with Los Blancos and says he hopes to achieve similar success with Chelsea this term.
‘It’s an incredible competition,’ he added. ‘With all the teams I’ve played for in the Champions League I have reached the final and I hope to do so this year too.
‘It’s very difficult to win the Champions League but I think we have a good team, and with a good mentality we can do good things.’
Chelsea host London rival Arsenal on Sunday Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, with Morata, the hopes of continues scoring for the Blues.
